RTV-2 moulding silicon applications:

RTV-2 moulding silicon  for large product silicon rubber mold making, such as crafts industry, statue Buddha, relievo furniture, decorative materials, artifacts copied, building decorations, scale cement, artificial fossils, simulation landscapes, animals and plants sculpture, sandstone crafts and so on.

RTV-2 moulding silicon features:

RTV-2 moulding silicon is a flowing liquid with general hardness of 22-50A°after curing. RTV-2 moulding silicon is a kind elastic silicon rubber mold which features with resistance to deformation, high-temperature, acid-alkali and expansion as well as high reproduction times, good tensile strength ,tear strength and elongation.

RTV-2 moulding silicon operations:

If the customer wants to make large products and large size silicon rubber molds, the silicon rubbber mold should be made of RTV-2 moulding silicon with high hardness. On the contrary, if the silicon rubber mold with fine and precision  patterns, it should be made of RTV-2 moulding silicon  with low hardness. The amount of the curing agent depends on the actual requirements of the customer. If silicon rubber molds requiring fast drying and demould, more curing agent is needed; contrarily, if silicon rubber molds requiring slower drying and demould, less curing agent is needed.

(Note: our company does not recommend you to add silicon oil. If a special soft silicon rubber mould or fine detailed and complex patterns products are required, 5%-10% silicon oil can be added to soften the silicon rubber mold for easy demould.)
